Aetna:
Aetna has issued a revised commission schedule
for all new Small Group (2-50) for New Jersey
and Connecticut. New Business with effective
dates of May 1, 2002 or later will have a
commission rate of 5.5% in NJ and 5.0% in
CT. Please note this does not apply to any
existing business.
In addition, Aetna now offers in both New
York and New Jersey Open Access POS plans. |
Horizon
Healthcare:
Effective July 1, 2002 Horizon Healthcare
will be converting all Multiplan Network PPO
plans to their new Standard Network for all
existing plans. This network is a combination
of the Vista Network and the acquired Anthem
Network.
This change will coincide with Horizon's change
in Rx Vendors from Merck Medco to Advanced
PCS.

GHI:
GHI's new EPO plan is now available. This
plan is identical to their PPO product but
without the out of network benefit portion.
Currently the EPO plans have no participation
requirements when written as a stand alone
plan. EPO plans with a $20 co-pay and 10/25/40
Rx start as low as $263 per single. |
Oxford
USA:
This program allows out of area enrollment
of up to 30% of the total enrolled group utilizing
the First Health Network. Six plan designs
are available using the Manhattan Non-gated
rates for those out of the Oxford area. |
United
Healthcare:
United Healthcare has become very competitive
in the Choice Plus product line. Their Non-Gated
plans have two distinct programs - The Traditional
Non-Gated Plans with no in network deductibles
and their new Cost Share Non-Gated Plans with
in network deductibles and other cost sharing
options. Rates for the 2nd quarter 2002 are
as low as $230 per single for a cost share
plan and $290 for traditional non network
deductible plans. Included is the standard
7/30/50 Rx card. |
