Horizon and Aetna Rate Reductions for 4Q 05

Please note Horizon's rates are for November and December 2005 and Aetna 's rates are for the full 4Q 05.

Horizon's Plan #7, a PPO with NO in network deductibles or Coinsurance and a 30/45 Co-pay with a 15/35/70 (100 ded) Rx card is only $299.51 for a Single employee.

Horizon's Cost Share EPO plans such as Plan 25 with a 30/45 Co-pay and the same 15/35/70 (100 ded) Rx card starts at $168.95 for a Single employee.

Aetna 's MC 29b PPO plan with NO in network deductibles or Coinsurance and a flat $25 Co-pay with a 15/35/50 Rx card (No Deductible) is now only $360.00 per Single employee.

Remember, these plans offer national coverage with Aetna utilizing their PPO network nation wide and Horizon using the PHCS network outside of NY & NJ.

Aetna Participation Change and Rate Reductions for 4Q 05

Effective IMMEDIATELY for new business Aetna has changed the participation requirements and reduced rates for the Fourth Quarter of 2005!!!

New York Community Rated Managed Choice Plans Participation Requirements for groups with 5 or more eligible have been eliminated as long as two enroll in the Aetna Plan.

Example: XYZ Company with 15 eligible employees � You can write a NY MC plan with as few as 2 enrolling in Aetna

The 60% participation rule only applies to less then 5 eligibles.

Aetna 's MC 29b PPO plan with NO in network deductibles or Coinsurance and a flat $25 Co-pay with a 15/35/50 Rx card (No Deductible) is now only $360.00 per Single employee.
