Aetna
- No restriction on dual options – Groups with 5 or more can offer any options side by side
- MC 21,22 & EPO 2 still competitive in the marketplace
- Diabetic supplies will now be offered at the PCP copay
Introducing new Medicare Advantage Plan which provides comprehensive coverage for retirees as well as active employees over age 65 (for groups with less than 20 employees)
- Very attractive Broker Bonus
Oxford/United
- New Direct options available 7/1/07 for NY groups with 100% coinsurance in network. Will be available in NJ 8/1. Rates are still competitive
- Enhanced online capabilities – now enroll members online and obtain instant member ID numbers. New groups may still be quoted and enrolled through IDEA. Brokers can also obtain Member/Subscriber lists for all existing accounts.
- OBM still remains good option for small groups who wish to offer large group style benefits
- Very attractive Broker Bonus Program for 2007
Healthnet
- Separation of Guardian and Healthnet – all small business will transfer over to Healthnet by September 2007
- Outlook products remain very competitive Dual and triple options available to any size group – just need minimum of 1 person enrolled in each plan offering
- The HSA product continues to be competitively priced with extremely competitive benefits – the deductible is Policy Year and cross accumulates in and out of network
