FILCO's primary role is to act as a managing General Agent (MGA) and Consultant for group benefit programs. While FILCO has national distribution capability in place, its primary focus has been the markets in New York and New Jersey. FILCO, through its distribution system, produces in excess of $50 million of premiums annually in the New York / New Jersey market with total in-force premiums exceeding $375 million.

FILCO requires stable, strong relationships for the long term with a particular carrier in order to meet its ultimate goals of providing the best possible health insurance delivery system for, and on behalf of, the clients of its distribution system. We strongly believe that with the advent of the community rating system that a level playing field has served to bring stability for the active carriers in the marketplace. We believe that the carriers acting with entities like FILCO will serve to underwrite its producer sources. This will be the essence for success in this volatile arena.

FILCO also provides, Group and Individual life, NY Statutory Disability (DBL), Group Disability/Voluntary Disability, HI limit Impaired Risk Disability and Life, Dental, LTD, STD, Vision, and Long Term Care Insurance.


Reinsurance Intermediary:

FILCO is a duly licensed New York State Reinsurance Intermediary for Life, Health and Accident Business. FILCO places quota share as well as excess/stop loss coverage for, and on behalf of various Life and Health Insurance Companies.

FILCO also provides stop/loss coverage for medical plans as well as life reinsurance and consulting for Agencies and Life Companies.
